When a stable cell line is not available, your antibody can be produced from sequence data by means of transient expression in a mammalian expression system. For the production of other recombinant proteins other expression systems can be used, but for antibodies we work with HEK293 or CHO cells.
This service is available as a stand-alone service, where you supply sequence information, cDNA or a plasmid, or the recombinant production of your antibody can be part of a larger antibody engineering project, such as isotype switching, chimerisation or antibody humanisation.
